Forbes reports that Sen. Cory Booker may release UAV legislation shortly

I’m trying not to post more than weekly, but I thought this had to get out there.  In some documents leaked to Forbes, it was learned that Sen. Cory Booker intends to introduce a UAV bill to act as a temporary measure until the full regulations come into play (which isn’t expected until late 2016 or 2017).  Currently, commercial users can utilize something called a “333 exemption;” however, those take a minimum of 145 days and potentially as long as 190+ days.  Unfortunately, the Forbes article isn’t too detailed, so we will just have to wait and see.
